The town of Davidson passed a Vision Zero resolution in 2021 as a result of the leadership of their Pedestrian Safety Task Force and pressure from members of the town following the tragic deaths of three local residents. The group has laid much of the groundwork and have already identified next steps and action items to pursue as a part of an overall Vision Zero strategy in their 2021 Final Report. Building on this momentum, they adopted a Vision Zero plan in 2023.
