In 2023, the Village of Clemmons joined NCVZ as a community partner. Within its first year, the Village has adopted a Vision Zero resolution, established a VZ Task Force, and is in the process of developing a VZ Action Plan. Clemmons also secured FY22 and FY23 Safe Streets for All grants to advance their Vision Zero initiative. Following participation in the 2023 NC Vision Zero Leadership Training Institute, village staff continue meeting with Vision Zero communities across the state to explore ways to integrate Vision Zero principles into future planning.
